Hey Family and Loved Ones,
Adelyn is now almost 7 weeks old and we're having a great time getting to know her. One of the most pleasant surprises is how great Isaac is at being a big brother and how much they get along. You can tell that Adelyn really enjoys watching Isaac....well...be Isaac.
Adelyn's personality is starting to show through. She can be quite a particular one. She likes to let you know she doesn't like something. She's not too fond of the tummy time thing like most 6 week old babies. We've started to see her smile voluntarily...not just when she has gas. Things are moving along, she's gaining weight and getting loved.
It seems like finalization will be late February or early March. We're super close to being fully funded. So far, it looks like we're about $7500 shy of all of the adoption costs being raised! We have been so blessed and grateful for all of you that have joined our journey to adopt Adelyn. Our hearts are full because of this little bundle of joy that has changed our lives in such a beautiful way.
