She's HOME!

The past 2 weeks have been pretty unreal!  We were matched the Friday before Thanksgiving and so from then on, we were full speed preparation mode.  Many of you already know that we brought our sweet girl home and have been having a beautiful time with her.

Our girl is doing super well.  We've had a couple of check-ups due to her being a few weeks early.  She's starting to eat much better and we're hoping to get that weight gain going quickly.

Isaac has been such an amazing big brother.  We were apprehensive that he wouldn't adjust very well to a newborn baby.  Thus far, he's a great helper and love's his little sister.  I asked Isaac what he thought of his little sister.  He said, "I like her.  And I like that she telled Santa that she wanted a bottle."

Along the way there were so many instances when God was telling us to trust in Him.  Adoption can have so many twists and turns and each one can have you asking, "What if?"  I can't say that the twists and turns are over, but I'm compelled to keep trusting in my Rock of Salvation.

We wanted to give you a puzzle update.  We are over halfway to helping fully fund the adoption!

With finalization around 3 months away, there's plenty of time to sponsor a piece of the puzzle that will hang in the baby's bedroom to remind her baby of the people that helped bring our family together.

Just a thought, if you'd like to sponsor a piece in honor of someone or as a unique Christmas gift to someone, we'd love to add their name to the puzzle.  We'll send them a thank you note with a puzzle piece attached.  Make sure to include their info in the online form found HERE

Here's Isaac's puzzle that still hangs in his room as his special reminder.

We are so thankful to those who have helped expand our family.  We have an amazing village to raise our sweet girl!

We look forward to more updates as we continue finalizing the adoption of our sweet baby girl!
